Leave It On The Floor is a unique musical with comedy and drama elements and was directed by Sheldon Larry. The original story was written by Glenn Gaylord. The whole movie is about finding your place under the sun in the community where almost everyone look at you as an outcast, just because you're different. But, all these people have something in common- they are all members of the LGBT community. In the focus of the story is a young homosexual Afro-American boy Bradley Darnell Lyle (Ephraim Sykes) who gets kicked out of his mothers house after she finds out what he is. He takes off in her car and sets off to find a new family and to see what to do with his life. He comes across Carter (Andre Myers), who further leads him into the worlds of ball culture, where they get the freedom to compete in various competitions, dancing and vogueing up and down their own runways. And the whole thing is led by a house "parent", an elder member of LGBT community. The result of that is forming bonds that are similar to the family, but much stronger because of the tolerance for differences. Overall looked, this is not the movie that is going to thrill the masses, but is worth of watching, just to see how many colours can one palette contain, and how each and every one of them is unique in its own way.
