Before that start of the WWII, there was cooperation between US and Japan government. They worked together to make their countries stronger and to be able to sustain through tough times if needed. Unfortunately, as WWII breaks out, they stopped working together and got in war after few years. This story describes the life of Japanese leaders on the last frontier before Japan - island of Iwo Jima. Because of the bad informing, and because of their stubbornness, Japanese army fails to prepare on time, and does not get enough supplies to make their last stand count. For a movie that describes war, there are no that many action scenes, because it is not intended to show you action and all of the events in war, but to get closer to you how actually people felt in those moments. This movie will make Clint Eastwood one of the best movie directors if you want to see how actors tried to get in the roles of the soldiers. All in all, this is one fantastic movie that shows you different perspective and gives you different perspective and point of view to the things you never consider when you are talking to someone about war.
