I brought my entire family into the cinema in order to see this movie, as i read a plenty of reviews, and all of them were pretty good. And first of all i want to say that i am very disappointed, after it for the rest of the day i have had a very bad mood due to great expectations and boring reality of the movie. I can say that this movie was “stretched” for too long and there were no interesting moments. Only after the first hour of the movie which was saying the banal story of the boy, has started something interesting, Thank God! The shipwrecking. That was already interesting. After it the boy, during the entire movie was struggling for existence. And after that almost for half an hour has lasted the happy end of the story. Bla bla bla, i can say that it was very boring, and certainly it is not the movie that is worth seeing one more time in life. Those are two hours and a half lost from my life.

I saw this movie in the cinema at the cinema in 2013 with my husband, and i can say that we both had same reaction about it. I wouldn’t recommend this movie for little children as there are some moments in it which are very hard to watch for them. I remember at cinema was a little boy, about six years old, and he was crying, as this movie has nothing to do with Mowgli. It is a movie about not easy fate of a person, which is showing how easily everything can change in a second. It is a story about a boy, who suffered a lot due to his classmates who were making fun upon him and his name, but who was brave enough in order to live on a boat with a tiger for three months and not being eaten by him, he really earned the respect of this animal. While watching all this on the big 3D screen i can say that the view is simply amazing and from time to time breathtaking.

It is an amazing, great and totally breathtaking movie; I have no words in order to describe the movie, as I cannot explain how much it amazed me. I read the novel “Life of Pi” on the basis of which the movie has been filmed, but I could not even imagine, that one book can be filmed like that. It is bright, full of colors and unbelievable. Some scenes were so beautiful that my breath was almost stopping from all the emotions I had about it. The subject line is very interesting, and complex. The ship which was transporting a zoo was shipwreck, so one Indian young man, whose name was Pi, was on floating on a boat with a tiger, so he was supposed either to handle the tiger or allow the tiger to eat him. So later everything that happens in the movie sounds almost like fantasy. What happens later is simply amazing, and is on the border of fantasy. The great special effects look like hallucinations due to the fact how unreal they are, and considering the fact that it was a 3D movie, it was even better. It is a real masterpiece; I haven’t seen this kind of movies for a long time.
