Movie MacGruber is a rare movie that offers a chance to see Val Kilmer in the role of a villain. Before anyone starts watching this movie, take in consideration that this is comedy more than action movie. Val is acting infamous Dieter Von Cunth, a criminal who has never been stopped before. Dieter manages to steal nuclear warhead in the Dzhugdzhur Mountains, Eastern Siberia. His intentions are to nuke Washington D.C. what will be discovered later in the movie. With nuclear threat above their heads, USA government has reactivated a retired special operative MacGruber. First colonel James Faith and Dixon Piper have to find him in Riobamba, Ecuador. MacGruber knows Dieter Von Cunth very well. After Cunth has killed his wife at their wedding, MacGruber is considered deceased. Will Forte did a great job acting weird and emotionally crippled MacGruber. With help of Vicki (Kristen Wiig) and Piper (Ryan Phillippe), MacGruber is going through many unreal and strange situations. On his mission he has to deal with many obstacles together with his emotional pain. There is no lack of explosions, fired bullets, fast pace action and cheap clichés. Funny scenes are often parodies on many repetitive events and jokes seen in old action movies. A lot of things are over exaggerated. Dialogues are raw and with no respect. In his eulogy, MacGruber had many F words. If you are into cheap superficial humour and pointless shooting this is perfect choice.
