As it usually goes, every girl wants her wedding to be perfect. Nothing can be less than that. Even when it comes to meeting your dad for the first time. The story begins on a lovely Greek island. Young girl called Sophie (Amanda Seyfried) is about to get married. And she wants her biological father at her wedding, giving her away to her future husband, as it is the custom. After secretly reading her mom's diary, she finds out that there are three men who could be her father. And the best part is, her mother has no idea which one of them really is. In her youth, Donna (Meryl Streep), Sophie's mom, used to be lead singer of the group called Donna and the Dynamos. So, Sophie decides to invite all three of them to her wedding and her mom doesn't know a thing about it all. On the other hand, her mom invites her two backup singers Rosie (Julie Walters) and Tanya (Christine Baranski). With all three of Donna's lovers, Sam (Pierce Brosnan), Bill (Stellan Skarsgård) and Harry (Colin Firth), Donna is now torn between them and must find the answers for her daughter. And throughout the whole movie there is the most famous song spinning- Mamma Mia by Abba. It makes the whole story complete and gives it a special flavour.
