Experienced as an actress, writer, director of short movies, a producer, and an editor, talented Jane Clark has more than ten awards. It was about time for her to try herself as a director of a full length movie. Inspired by John W. McLaughlin, Jane wrote a story based on real happenings. She wrote the story, screenplay and directed her début movie all alone. She is also a producer. With budget around two and a half millions and her skill set, Jane made decent 105 minutes long drama. Movie Meth Head as title says is about crystal meth addiction. Story revolves around an average guy who doesn’t stick from the crowd but has it all. He is about to marry his girl and everything seems to be in its place. All that is going to be wasted when Kyle gets introduced to crystal meth. At one party seemingly naive dealer gives Kyle a chance to dive into a new experience. After that Kyle slowly loses his life and relations with family members degrade until they become unfriendly. Many thrills and horrors that average user of crystal meth are presented here in this movie. They are presented as they are in real life. Director didn’t pick any side. Meth Heads doesn’t promote nor it is against the drug. It simply leaves to the audience to make their own opinion. Lukas Haas did an outstanding performance. Next to Lukas Blake Berris, Necar Zadegan and Wilson Cruz performed better than expected. Because of thematic and scenes that Meth Head contains it's not recommended for youngsters under 17. Still younger people should watch this movie because of the message.
