As he starts investigating a murder of a young girl, that was found in the middle of nowhere by the road, a rookie cop Jay Swan begins a murder mystery film directed by Ivan Sen. The story follows a young detective, who is played by Aaron Pedersen, finds himself alienated from both his police force as well as Indigenous community of cowboys. As he follows the trails and clues, he discovers that there is more to it than just a simple murder and that some people are trying to cover everything up and don't want him sniffing around. Torn between these two worlds, Jay suddenly realizes that his young teenage daughter might have something to do with the girl that was murdered. His attempts to reconcile with his alienated family and do his job the best he can in both of the worlds get him in very dangerous situations. Fantastic performances of Aaron Pedersen, Hugo Weaving, Ryan Kwanten and the rest of their acting crew bring these characters to life as well as the whole story. Lots of shooting, shouting and running in this crime mystery thriller will leave you breathless for few scenes and make you try to solve the puzzle along the way, imagining you're the brave detective Jay Swan with cowboy hat and pistols at your belts.
