What is the movie Note to Self about?
Note to Self is a comedy drama with some romance elements that is dealing with a guys senior year at college. Main character is Curtis King. He has it all- he is good looking, he is one of the best basketball players and he can choose which girl he's going to take home every night. But, it's not all shiny and bright as it seems. It turns out that his mom gets seriously ill and at the same time he needs to deal with his estranged father, who is trying to be part of their lives once again. At one point, Curtis (Christian Keyes) gets an advice on how to make things a lot clearer form himself and gets a diary to write his thoughts in. During that whole process, he spontaneously gets to meet young medicine student Paula Whittaker (Letoya Luckett) during his physical exam. They start chatting and get to know each other through small talk, and as the time goes by, they fall for each other as well. But, as his best friend insists on doing the stuff they used to do before and Curtis gets caught with another girl, he gets a serious thinking to do if he is to get the girl of his dreams back. Performances given by both Christian Keyes and Letoya Luckett really brought their characters to life and got closer to the everyday problems, showing them the way their really are.
