We've seen gorgeous young Dakota in roles as Jane in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse and New Moon, as well as heard her giving voice to both Coraline in Coraline and to Lilo Pelekai in Lilo and Stitch. Now, we get to see her in one more movie- Now Is Good as Tessa Scott. Dakota plays a young girl who is diagnosed with leukaemia. After four years spent in chemotherapy and giving everything to beat the illness, she finds out that the cancer has reached the stadium where is terminal and she doesn't have much time as well. With the help of her best girl friend Zoey (Kaya Scodelario), Tessa decides to make a list of all things she wants to do before she dies. Amongst other things, there are some types of behaviour that no one would approve of, especially her dad (Paddy Considine), who only then realizes that he can't stop her and can only enjoy in the time she's left. As Tessa does one by one things that are off of the list, with her friend Zoey as a support. With Tessa's parents divorced and her mother distancing herself, because she can't deal with the fact that Tessa is dying, there is only her little brother left in the picture. Cal (Edgar Canham), her brother, is a young and pretty honest person, who has mixed feelings about his sisters illness. These emotions go from heartless and careless behaviour to sadness and compassion. One of Tessas life long wishes is to find a person who she would love and who would love her back and that comes true with her neighbour Adam (Jeremy Irvine). As two of them fall in love, Adam gets through some of his fears and they stay together until the end.
