It all happens in Reno, when Nate Poole (Mickey Rourke) has an affair with a wife of a pretty cruel and ruthless gangster Happy Shannon (Bill Murray). When Happy finds out, one of his boys abducts Nate in order to kill and leave him in the desert. That is the point where fate intervenes and he gets saved by Indians. After that, Nate starts walking the desert until he reaches the place owned by Sam Adamo (Rhys Ifans). As he is about to get his hands on the phone and calls his friend, he spots gorgeous brunette girl with wings. Later he finds out that her name is Lily Luster (Megan Fox). He falls for her and offers her a ride out of the dump. Furious that he is taking one of his best selling merchandise, Sam gets his hands on Nate in order to kill him with a venomous snake, but Lily saves him. So, two of them hit the road and go to Reno. Before he realized he is falling for her, Nate has made a deal with Happy to bring him Lily. Now, he must find the way to break the deal off and still manage to keep the girl as well as his life. Since the criminals don't like deal breakers, Happy shows up at Nate's place, abducts Lily and takes off. The next thing Nate must do is save the girl.
