From the creative mind of Daniel Barnz, who was also the man behind the camera and directed the whole thing, comes an interesting adaptation of the already known story called Alice in Wonderland, except here is someone other main character of the event- young girl named Phoebe (Elle Fanning). As she finds herself in the world that is, from her point of view, obsessed with following the rules, she doesn't always fit in, but she is happy with that. She is following her own rules and her own instinct. So, here comes a classical tale about one cute girl in Wonderland, but with a little twist. As her imagination becomes more and more serious, Phoebe's only place where she can be understood is at the classes of her drama teacher (Patricia Clarkson). With her mother (Felicity Huffman) trying to support her but not quite getting the hold of her daughter's talent, Phoebe starts looking like she's beginning to sink into that imaginary world of hers and her mother starts worrying about her daughter's health. So, how will this fairy tale end? Will young Phoebe choose to stay in her imaginary Wonderland forever or will she face the harsh reality? This 96 minute drama will certainly keep you eyes on the screen throughout the entire movie.
