Pete Cozy has has troubles with resolving a happy marriage and family life with his rising debt and a job he hates. His life starts to change when a new boss, Susan, shows up and decides to stir things up. She sees Pete's potential and wants to groom him into a supervisor, but Pete doesn't seem to like the idea. This movie is an excellent social commentary on the rising number of people in their 30s who are in some sort of an extended adolescence. We all know someone like that, a person who is a grown-up but doesn't seem aware of that fact and doesn't seem to care that the life is passing by. This movie will definitely help in trying to relate to such a person. At a first glance, the movie seems to be a typical office comedy with the usual shenanigans, but soon enough the movie turns into something which the audience isn't expecting. The movie takes a deep look at the contemporary American life and makes the viewers re-think some of their own decisions they might have made in life. It can be said that the movie is some sort of a coming of age story, but it is much more than that. Fans of Parker Posey should definitely see this movie since her acting is top-notch in this flick. Give it a go and by the time the credits roll you will definitely feel at least a little bit better.
