What is the movie R.I.P.D. about?
Have you ever wondered what happens when people die? Or better, what happens when officers die, especially during their actions? They go to R.I.P.D. The movie starts with police officer Nick, who is portrayed by Ryan Reynolds, who gets killed during the raid in one of his actions. After that, he gets promoted to Rest In Peace Department, so he could keep on protecting the undead as well as the live ones. His partner is a cowboy with long moustache Roy, who is played by Jeff Bridges, who explains basic things to him. First- they don't look like themselves any more- in this case Roy is gorgeous curvy blonde and Nick is an old chinese guy. While getting to know his new partner and getting accustomed with the strange looking undead creatures, Roy and Nick notice lots of undead gatherings in Boston. They must prevent the undead from taking over the world, because there will be no more living after that. The apocalypse is about to come and these two just can't let that happen. Both of these R.I.P.D agents, Roy and Nick, are played by amazing actors, that know how to sink into their roles and bring their characters to life (so to speak). Ryan Reynolds is already known by lots of his comedy roles, such as the Van Wilder in the "Van Wilder: Party Liaison" or one of the mighty X-men in "X-Men Origins: Wolverine". Variety of his roles and the passion with which he takes them are making every man not ever question his acting quality and skills.
