Reign is an independent movie which is completely done by Kimberly Jentzen. She wrote story, directed movie and did the production. Because of this, story got filmed exactly as she imagined it. Action of the movie is placed in Iraqi desert and it follows American soldiers. Action is present in the movie but focus is placed on humanity and events that happened and are still happening during every war. Kimberly didn’t give choice between right or wrong. There is no fight between good and bad guys. It is not important who said what. Reign presents simple truth- that everyone involved in war are victims. There is black and white situation. Every person has to decide and make choice and has to live with it for the rest of the life. Kimberly brings us closer to people who are hopeless and have to battle with their own mistakes. Impact of the emotions is great and impression that is left on audience is at least to say powerful. This short movie is packed with very intense emotions. Because of length of the movie, audience will not end up overloaded with emotional intensity. Reign is refined movie that offers something different. Andrew Fognani and Sheetal Sheth make their characters look real and they managed to transfer feelings on spectators. Their performance is more than well. Do not hesitate and enjoy watching this movie.
