A trip to Lapland can change anybody’s life, especially a little boy’s life. This trip brought immense changes in the life a single mother and her seven-year-old son. The movie’s name is too general and it doesn’t reveal its complexity and depth. “Santa” is one of the few examples of Lithuanian-Finish cooperation that demonstrates obvious talents of its film makers. The main objective of the movie director was to show a cultural-ethnic and psychological relationship triangular. The little boy is very misfortunate; he’s ill and not likely to recover. His mother is desperate but she still wants him to have a happy vacation in the place he’s always been dreaming about. Lapland is a place of miracles, a place of dreaming and getting their dreams fulfilled. Hope, love and lots of efforts to save the little boy’s life are going to change lots of lives – the boy’s and lives of the two grown-ups.
