Barry is an extremely awkward guy. He’s socially inappropriate and even his closest friends are kind of embarrassed of him. In order to get rid of him his three friends plot to find him a wife. This plan eventually turns into a disaster because Barry somehow manages to find a perfect match for him – a woman with the very same degree of awkwardness and inappropriateness. That’s when their troubles double because now there are two people embarrassing them. This comedy is a bit different from all the others because it has an endearing love story in it. So if you don’t pay attention to all the inappropriateness and put aside all the awkward moments and lewd behavior, Mel and Barry are very cute together. Their couple exemplifies a very old and yet wise saying – “there’s someone for everyone”. The movie is very fun and definitely belongs to the “must see” category.
