Sometimes the adventure is never enough. And sometimes there is too much of it. For Annie Porter (Sandra Bullock) there is more than she would want it to be. Several years after having to deal with a bus that has the bomb attached to it, she now finds herself in yet another similar situation, but this time, it's on a cruiser. After dating the police officer who saved her life on the bus, Annie broke up with him and decided that she wants a peaceful life. Then she fell in love with another guy called Alex, who turned out to be the same type of guys- loves danger, is pretty self-destructive, and works for the same force as well. As she plans to break up with him as well, he surprises her with two tickets for a cruise. Just when she thought something nice is going to happen, another hell breaks loose. Geiger (Willem Dafoe), the man who programmed everything on the ship, is now looking for a revenge and has set the course of the cruiser to hit the big oil tank in the middle of the sea. Annie and Alex are now the only team that can stop him and save the rest of the guests there. The only question is, how this adventure is going to end? Is it going to be worse than it would be if the both ships exploded?
