Step up 2: The Streets is a worthy sequel of the Step up movie. It has almost the same idea in the plot for the movie, but with a nice twist and with some additional changes. It follows the life of Andie West (Briana Evigan). She is a rebellious teenager and is currently living with her mom's friend, Sarah. Andie is in the crew called 410, which is both dance crew as well as vandals, but she doesn't care too much. This crew is led by Tuck. At one point, Andie gets an ultimatum from Sarah- either go to school and leave the crew or go to your relatives in Texas. As Tyler Gage (Channing Tatum) comes back to neighbourhood, he tries to send her in the right direction and gets her to apply and go to the audition for MSA- Maryland School of Arts. There, Andie meets Chase (Robert Hoffman), talented but also in a way rebellious younger brother of the current principal. Her first friend is Moose (Adam G. Sevani), a self taught and very talented dancer who is placed in the wrong class. As the story goes on, she makes even more friends, starts neglecting 410 and finally gets expelled from that crew. When proposing to compete at the street competition, her new crew from the school has no idea how to do that. That's where Andie's best friend Missy (Danielle Polanco) comes in and helps them out a bit. In the end, attraction between Andie and Chase is undeniable and their winning on the competition as well.
