Gymnastics is a pretty hard thing to do for living. Practises are hard, there is a lot at stake when someone goes off to a championship, lots of sacrifices need to be made in order to even get close to what a person want to achieve. But, for some people that is the main goal in life. For some, like Haley Graham (Missy Peregrym), is playing against the rules. Rebellious as she is, Haley finds herself arrested, with a choice as she stands in the courtroom in front of the judge. She can either go to juvenile prison or getting back to the elite gymnastics program, from which she ran off a couple of years ago, letting her team down as well as losing the prize of the lifetime. Of course, her father somehow manages to talk her into going back to famous coach, Burt Vickerman (Jeff Bridges). Also, as she gets there, she is to encounter even more people that hold grudge against her. And to make peace with herself, she must first make peace with them and tell the world how she feels. She can be a tough girl, but that doesn't work very well with the rest of the crew. Also, she gets to learn new tricks and how to take the control over the things that happen to her, as well as how she will react. That helps her get to the championship again and.. Will she repeat the same things again as the last time, or will she stick it?
