Sweet November is a pretty romantic story in general, but the one that starts totally wacky and unexpectedly. At the beginning of the movie the viewers get to meet Nelson Moss (Keanu Reeves). He is a workaholic and doesn't seem to be able to hold onto a relationship like all other normal guys. He has devoted his life to working up his career, and doesn't see the importance of meeting her parents, although they have been together for some time. After his drivers licence expires, he must take DMV test again in order to get a new one. There, he meets a genuine girl called Sarah Deever (Charlize Theron), who is doing her best to keep her ends meet. After he tries to ask her for some questions, she gets expelled from the test. Angry at him, she decides to wait for him on his car and make him drive her around, because it's his fault she didn't take the test. As story goes on, she invites him for a cocoa, they start talking about all sorts of stuff and at one point, she suggests that he spends a month with her, doing everything she says and not resisting a lot, with a guarantee that his life will change for better. At first, he starts thinking that he is out of his mind, but as he gets to know her better, he finds out that the new life style actually is good for him. Slowly they fall for each other, but there is a new problem waiting for them both as he asks her to marry him.
