Switchmas is a family comedy directed by Sue Corcoran starring Elliott Gould, David DeLuise and Elijah Nelson. It is a story of an 11 year old boy who is obsessed with Christmas. He had seen every Christmas movie ever made and the only things on his mind are reindeer, sleigh rides and snow. The only problem is that he is Jewish. When his hopes for a holiday in Aspen are crushed he hatches a plan to enjoy a Christmas of his dreams. He flies all alone to visit his grandparents in Florida and he swaps tickets with Mikey, another 11 year old boy on his way to Christmastown, WA. Little boy gets more than he bargained for when he experiences his first "White Christmas". Cast of the movie is excellent, all of the actors do a good job and they drive the plot well. Switchmas is a lovely Christmas story with a Hanukkah twist. The young actors perform really well, and their interactions with the adults are sweet to watch. There are plenty of funny moments in this movie, and whole family can enjoy them. If you're looking for a nice family movie to watch, then Switchmas is the right movie for you!
