When it comes to great quality rock music, this is the movie you'll find most of it. And it doesn't matter if you don't actually like watching musicals, this one will surely keep you engaged and you won't be bored for a second. It was written by Kyle Gass, Jack Black, who got to play two main characters in the movie as well, and Liam Lynch, who also directed the movie. Tenacious D the Pick Of Destiny is a comical story that starts off with young JB. He is living under the roof of his highly religious father (Meat Loaf). After one of his outbursts with rock music, he runs away from home. Years after that, he meets a local beach player KG and two of them formed a band called Tenacious D. Two of them are hungry for fame and money, so they are up for anything in order to get famous. A guy from the bookstore (Ben Stiller) tells them about magic pick that makes all the guitar players rich. Is that no enough for the beginning of the most hilarious adventure ever? Also, along the way they get across the Devil himself and must fight him for keeping their lives as well as the rock music.
