They are loud and chaotic, different, scary looking.. They are the Blues Brothers. This comedy crime with lots of action was written by Dan Aykroyd, who also got one of the main roles and John Landis, who did the directing part as well. It revolves around two guys. Jake (Belushi) and Elwood (Aykroyd) are the front men of the former blues band. That band fell apart after one of the brothers, Jake, was arrested and ended up in prison. Now, that he is out of the prison, Jake and Elwood go back to the place called "The Penguin", where they were once raised by the nuns. Since the the Archdiocese aren't going to fund that place any more, it is announced to be shut down. That is, unless they somehow manage to raise 5000 dollars in 11 days. The Blues Brothers are now on the mission to raise that much money in order to enable "The Penguin" to stay where it is. They manage to put the band together and go on a tour and along the way make even more enemies than what they thought. Will they be able to finish their mission in time and raise that much money for the nuns that raised them? This action comedy will make you laugh to tears throughout the entire time.
