The Grand Budapest Hotel is the first full-on action picture by the writer and director Wes Anderson. Fans of action will definitely enjoy this one due to plenty of gunfights, high-speed chases and great escapes. Dialogues are great, they are well thought out and some might need a second viewing in order to fully understand everything said. The story of the movie recounts the adventures of Gustave H who is a legendary concierge at a famous European hotel between the wars, and Zero Moustafa who is a lobby boy. In the year 1968 the author of the book "The Grand Budapest Hotel" was inspired to write it by visiting that hotel and meeting Zero Moustafa who tells him the tale of how he became the owner of the hotel. The story takes us some 30 years back in time when Zero Moustafa was a simple lobby boy who was under the guidance of Gustave H. Gustave loved to please his guests especially the wealthy blonde women, and the story revolves around one of those women. The movie confronts troubling parts of the European history but in a fun way. There are some scenes which the animal lovers might find gruesome but those scenes are done in such a way that they don't seem needless or way too brutal. This movie will definitely make plenty of people enjoy the thrill ride and come back to it again after the ride is over.
