It is time for Marlon. Brando has shown that there is a long list of reasons to watch him in his great movies. The Hook or On The Waterfront is one of his most popular movies. It is from 1954 and tells a story about an ex fighter, who is now a longshoreman and he has a goal to stand up to his bosses who are very corrupt. Back in the day, there were many problems with the Union and it was a usual thing for them to act like if they were some criminals. Workers turn against each other and that is when the big problems start. Terry Malloy becomes a participant in a murder that he didn't commit. Joey Doyle has been murderer. He is a longshoreman, and it is obvious that some of the competitors has organized the killing. This movie offers a great twist of a story and that is what makes it even more interesting. It is one of the movies in which Marlon Brando is showing why he is so popular. It was not easy for his character in the movie to deal with all the problems surrounding the murder, but eventually he manages to do it his own way.
