We all like watching movies that have to deal with events that happened in the past, but not too long ago, or it surely will look like a science fiction or simply too distant. Plot of this movie is set in 1952 on cold winter days in December. The story begins with a young boy Silas (Jesse James), who is a mechanic. But, this time, instead of repairing cars, gets to drive one. And that isn't the only thing. He gets to drive a very famous customer, but he hasn't got a clue about it. He gets partially paid in advance, but the rest comes after he successfully does his job. And the conditions are: "If he shows up drunk or to hangover to work, you don't get paid." So, he goes with the car and meets his customer, who is, by the way Hank Williams. Along the way, the two of them try and have a decent conversation, but since their experiences are too different, the small talk will just have to do. As they drive around, they find out more about each other and start understanding each other, having adventures, because the wild spirited star Hank isn't just going to sit around until he gets to the shows in West Virginia and Ohio. But, what not so many people know is that Hank is sick and he doesn't have much time left.
