What is the movie The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King about?
There is basically no need to write too many sentences about The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King. The reason why I say this is simple – this movie is still popular even though it has been released in 2003. That means that people are still interested in the story of Gandalf and Aragorn. In this 201 minutes long movie, we watch these two lead the World of Men to fight Sauron and his large army. The main goal is to protect Frodo and Sam and of course to make sure that they reach the goal and secure the safety of the One Ring. The director of this movie is Peter Jackson and he has proven once again that a great story makes a difference. I am absolutely in love with the story line and the plot and basically everything that this movie is about. The movie is based on the novel by J.R.R. Tolkien, and we can say thanks to Fran Walsh for the screenplay. The goal is to climb the Mount Doom and while they are doing it, the good news is that they can count on help by Gollum. Gandalf is riding all the way to Minas Tirith along with Pippin and they have a task to defend Gondor... The bottom line is that movie deserves to be one of the most popular of all time and there are many reasons for that.

My favorite scene would have to be the battle at Minas Tirith. The incredible scope of the battle, with the special effects, sounds, and many close-ups of pieces of the action, make for an exciting scene. The visual effects especially are stunning; the 'oliphaunts' play a big part in the action, and they're entirely created by computer. There's also some wide shots with tens of thousands of digital characters marching on the field of battle, and even the individual actions have the masses warring as a backdrop. It's worth your movie-going dollar simply to watch this on a large screen. It was also intermingled with some smaller events inside Minas Tirith, so it's not pure battle for the whole of the scene, and it keeps it from being dreary or heavy-handed.

Overall, this is a movie well worth watching, and even paying to see in a theatre. I'd recommend against bringing small children, as there are some scary images, and they'd also be a distraction during the final movie in what will probably remain the series of the decade. Not a particularly great date movie, either...this is a real, bring-your-friends big movie. Five out of five decapitated orcs (and trust me, there were a lot more than that).

I would be honest from the beginning and say that i do not consider this movie as a masterpiece, i can say for sure that i have seen better in my life! but of course it is very easy for me to say, and it is much more difficult to do it! And i can say that as far as for now, no one has done better than this. The actors have been chosen very wisely, although i imagined Frodo a bit different, but this is my personal opinion! The battles of course have happened to be very impressive, and in the special effects were put a lot of work, but still i would like to mention that there is nothing captivating neither in special effects, nor on the screen in the brave deeds of heroes. But i will underline once again that anyways it is a very qualitative product! I was expecting much more from Gandalf, because he is a magician and one of my favorite characters, but he disappointed me! So if comparing the movie to the book, i would say that those are two different things, but still the movie is very good and deserves being seen!

I love the movie Lord of the Rings very much, and i have watched it five or seven times already. I guess it was quite hard to make it, but still nevertheless the creators of this very interesting movie have done a great job with it! I liked the Hobbits and Gandalf very much, together with Aragorn and with all the other heroes of the movie, except the evil ones of course. They were defending their friends till the last one and have won the war against evil.. This movie is very interesting and captivating that is why i advise everyone to see it!
Since the first part of this movie, and till the last one, a whole era has started and finished in my life, and now i can perfectly understand that! I couldn’t wait till the second and third movies to be released that is why i found and bought the book, i was not sleeping for a few days until i finished the last page of it, and this way felt myself complete! I guess this movie is one of the best movies a person can ever see.

It has been almost eleven years since the release of the last movie of Lord of the rings, but i still remember those three movies with great love! This week i saw the first part of the movie again, and it made me want to see them all once again! Probably everyone already knows the plot of the movie! It is about two hobbits who are brave and carry the ring into Mordor in order to destroy it! Peter Jackson has made a great job while filming it! The great battles look amazing. The decorations are made with a special thoroughness and paying attention to details. The suits are gorgeous! And all of those things makes us get deeper into the world of tale from which you don’t want to get back! Unfortunately return of the king is worse than the first part- the brotherhood of the ring. But no matter this thing i can easily say that it is an awesome movie! I got a lot of pleasure and great emotions while watching it a long time ago, and i can say i felt the same thing now during watching it!
