From the Academy Award Winning director Peter Jackson comes an outstanding and pretty scary mystery movie that will make you see the world in a very different way. It deals with a dead girl which finds herself in the purgatory after her death, which gives her time to decide if she wants to get her revenge on her killer or let her family heal. It's time of 1970's in the suburban parts of Pennsylvania. Young Susie Salmon (Saoirse Ronan) is a typical another everyday school girl. One day, they just find her dead body in the neighbourhood. With her family crushed and destroyed with the information that she is killed and the police doesn't have the clue about who the killer is, this young girl is telling her story from the place in between Heaven and Earth. As the audience gets to see her sister and her father trying their best to get to some evidence, because the only thing they have is a hunch, they also get to see everything that Susie experiences while being in the Purgatory. And throughout the entire time in the movie, we see how strong the bond between father and his daughter really is, because he always knows where she is, and it doesn't matter that she is not alive.
