Motel Life is a drama with elements of a thriller directed by Alan Polsky and Gabe Polsky, starring Emile Hirsch, Stephen Dorff and Kris Kristofferson. The movie won three awards on the Rome Film Fest, a reward for best screenplay, an audience reward and an AMC reward. The movie is based on a novel written by Willy Vlautin. It is a story of two brothers who are forced to leave Reno after being involved in a hit and run accident. It would be a shame to say more about the plot since it definitely needs to be experienced by the viewer. Movies like Motel Life are pretty rare to find, and it is very exciting when a movie like this one comes up. It is a story about two inseparable brothers who have no money, only each other. Two actors who play the brothers did an astonishing job, the audience will feel as if they had been brothers for their entire lives, no words can properly convey how good these two actors are. This movie deals with many dark and adult themes, keep that in mind if you are squeamish. It has a nice message about society and if that is what you enjoy, then don't waste any more time and check The Motel Life out!
