Based on the comic books, here comes another fantastic movie from the 90s- The Phantom. The script for this movie was done by Jeffrey Boam and the whole thing was directed by Simon Wincer. The story is placed mostly in outdoor locations, all over the city of New York. It begins with a history lesson, as we see that the Phantom was always there, since the pirates started roaming the waters. Since he was there year after year and also after 60 years, it is believed by the common people that he is immortal. But, the truth is, that the role of Phantom is passed on from generation to generation in one family. So, from father to son, this role came down to Kit Walker (Billy Zane). He is the current Phantom and part of his mission as Phantom is to find a wife and get a son, who will one day be his successor. In this adventure, Phantom get to deal with a legend about three skulls that can destroy the world when put together. And one man, evil Xander Drax (Treat Williams), is set out to find them as well as to use them for his own gain. As he manages to reunite three of these skulls, we see that the legend actually involved four skulls, but no one ever realized where the fourth one was, not even its carrier, the Phantom himself.
