What is the movie The Princess and the Frog about?
Here is another old fable with a new twist on the edge. Princess and the frog is a very old fairy tale about a prince, who is really irresponsible and has absolutely no respect for others as well as compassion for them. After being cursed, he turns into the frog and will be brought back to his real form only when he receives a true kiss from a young maiden. Here, one of the main characters is actually young Tiana (voiced by Anika Noni Rose). She is a dreamer and her only dream is to have her own restaurant. But, for now, she works a double shift at a lame boss so she could save some cash. As she gets invited to a high class dinner and party, where only high class society comes, she comes across the prince Naveen (Bruno Campos) who is actually turned into a frog and their adventure begins. As we get to see, prince Naveen is not only disrespectful of the others, but also very superficial and immature. So, one of his servants makes a deal with a powerful magician to turn him into a frog. And as the frog begged for a kiss, something unusual happened- she turned into a frog as well. Imagine that! The rest of this fable is yet to be told, so be careful and pay attention to all during the watching.
