I think it is one of the cruelest movies I have ever seen in my life. This movie made me realize that I don’t want to go to campus, and honestly speaking I do not want to the university either. I mean how it is possible that a person is almost killing another person on the eyes of the entire campus and no one is helping them or at least calling the 911 service. it made me think about what country i am living in, it is very shocking, i can certainly say that i do not like that. The main actress performed her role pretty well, i have none complaints about it, though Leighton Meester was just gorgeous while performing. I always knew that she is talented, but i never even had a clue that she is that talented. After the “Gossip Girl” i thought that it is the maximum she can do, performing the role of a spoilt girl, but she truly amazed me by showing that she can do much better than that, her eyes in the movie, they really looked like she was sick and needed help of a doctor.

Honestly speaking when I started looking at the movie I thought it is a usual college story, where the worse thing would be two girls fighting with each other for the lockers or having some more space in the wardrobe, but I never expected the scenario that I seen. Some parts of the movie were really terrifying. Leighton has shown the emotions of her hero very well: the anger, disappointment, hurt as well as desperation. The worst thing about having schizophrenia is the fact that the person itself doesn’t understand what is real and what is not. Imagine that you suddenly realize that some important moments of your life or people you have known haven’t gone for good into the past, or maybe they never even have existed. It is really hard fighting with that, and what is even worse is when you do not have power to fight it anymore.

The story line is very simple, and it is the classics of the genre. A young girl Rebecca is obsessed with her new roommate. Of course the person who is obsessed with a new idea will never rest in peace until the time when he will make this dream come true. This movie held me in captivity from the beginning and till the end, as I was really worried for the main hero. I have to admit that the main hero, Rebecca (Leighton Meester) deserved much more attention than her roommate Sarah- her performance didn’t brought any pleasure to me. The famous “Gossip Girl” Meester appeared in a completely new image- her character was physically instable girl. Her performance didn’t only not disappointed me, but made me feeling proud for her, I never thought that she can do so much more than she did in the TV show. I truly suffered for her hero and felt sorry for her.
