Like in every kingdom, there is always a fight between sons who will be the one to inherit the throne and rule the world some day. This is also the problem in movie Thor. Except their father, Odin, is the ruler of Asgard, the magical world. After both Thor, who is played by Chris Hemsworth and his younger brother Loki, played by Tom Hiddleston, grow up, besides the usual competitions, they start competing for the throne. During the final ceremony on the day Thor is to be named the kind of the Asgard, ice creatures that are thought to be destroyed, barge in and attack the castle. After preventing attack, enraged Thor insists on attacking them back and showing them who is their king, which his father refuses and sees as a chance to re-question his decision. After defying his fathers order not to go to their land, Thor gets punished and banished from the Asgard to Earth, until he learns his lesson. And that is only the beginning of the movie. This adventure fantasy includes Thor being sent to Earth with no powers at all, learning how to behave with people and how to respect them. Only then will he be able to regain his fathers trust. But, him being away from Asgard seems to be just fine for his brother.
