Movie Tracker is an adventure drama that was brought by the writer Nicolas van Pallandt and the director Ian Sharp. It tells the story about man in New Zealand in at the beginning of the 20th century. It all starts when a grey haired man called Arjan van Diemen (Ray Winstone) comes to New Zealand decades after the Boer War was over. Soon after entering the country, he is arrested by the local authorities. After a couple gets caught in the barn by one of the police officers, a fight starts and a man is killed. The police officer accuses a Maori man, Kereama (Temuera Morrison) of assaulting the officers with no reason and killing one of them. So, Kereama runs away. And there is only one man who knows how to track him down and find him- Arjan. Of course, he tracks him down and ties him up, but, during the return home, he reveals through the story of the fugitive, that the man is actually innocent. Will he hand him over to the authorities or will he let him go? If he brings the fugitive back, there will be an innocent man hanged and on his conscious. On the other side, the fugitive might be telling him lies, so it will be worse if he lets him go.
