Years after Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf) first got to know about Autobots and Decepticons, about their worlds, their wars and everything there is, he had decided that he is going to leave it all behind and live a normal life, like any other teenager. It is time to go to college. But, it doesn't go as easy as Sam had expected, and that includes both his love life and his relationship with Bumblebee and Optimus Prime. When getting into college, Sam realized that Mikaela (Megan Fox) is not going to leave the town and that they must work harder on keeping their relationship long-distance. Along the way, Sam finds a small object in his pocket, that fills his mind with strange symbols and he starts having hallucinations in the middle of his lectures. In all that, Decepticons are still making mess all over the world and the US government is more determined than ever to blame Autobots for everything and they want them gone. After going through with that, it becomes more than obvious that it was the biggest mistake of their lives. But, Decepticons are actually after what is in Sam's mind, and they are have their job made a lot easier, with Autobots out of their way. And the war is really about to begin.
