From the producer and writer Naomi Foner comes a pretty hot teenage drama with the focus on having the true friendship tested. In the centre of the story are two young girls who are friends and have spend their entire lives with each other. Now, when high school is over and this is their last summer before going off to totally different colleges, they want to have the most fun ever. That includes losing their virginity together. They start doing all sorts of wild things like naked swimming in the middle of the day on a crowded beach and having the fun of their lives. But, as they both accidentally meet a local ice cream salesman who happens to be an amazing artist, David, both of these teenage girls Lilly and Gerri start falling for him at the same time. And this is the point where their friendship gets tested. Lilly gets a lot closer to David and sleeps with him. Will she be able to tell that to her friend? Will she be able to forgive that to herself, for stealing her friends boy? Dakota Fanning is amazing in the role of Lilly and so is her friend Elisabeth Olsen as Gerri. These two make an amazing couple on the screen. Of course, there wouldn't be anything without handsome Boyd Holbrook who gets the role of David. After June 2013 when this movie was released, tons of teenage hearts were captivated by this teenage drama.
