When the president needs to be protected only the best of the best get their chances to get an interview for the job. This movie follows the story of John Cale, who is played by Channing Tatum, a police officer, father, who is trying to get to his dream job in the security in the White House. After he gets denied from that job, he takes his daughter to a tour around the White House, not telling her he didn't get it. During that time, that whole place, which is crowded by security guard, gets overtaken by terrorists. As John manages to disable a few of them and get to the president and save him, he makes calls and tries to notify every government agency and force that the attack on the White House is in the process. When that possibility is denied, it is up to John Cale to rescue the president, his little girl as well as the rest of the world. Amazing acting skills provided by Channing Tatum have made his character real. The director of "White House Down", Roland Emmerich brought us "2012" and "The Day After Tomorrow". And if you liked those movies, you'll love the action and tension in this one as well. This movie is the perfect choice for a weekend movie marathon with friends or family.
