What is the movie Working Girl about?
Coming from the mind of the creative writer Kevin Wade an amazing comedy movie was directed by Mike Nichols. Working girl may be an old classic comedy, but it still manages to bring out a true meaning of comic situations and good laugh. It starts off as we meet a young and ambitious girl called Tess McGill (Melanie Griffith) gets into a very successful company as a secretary. After some time, she comes up with a brilliant idea for a merging with another company, but that idea gets stolen by her boss, Katharine Parker (Sigourney Weaver). So, there is nothing she can do and all she can is to keep the future ideas for herself, at least until she gets to a higher position. After Katharine, her boss, manages to break a leg during her skiing vacation, Tess sees a chance to take over and go through with her own idea. The first thing she does is teaming up with a big broker Jack Trainer (Harrison Ford), who she knows will help her go ahead with her career. As two of them spend lots of time together, they also start falling for each other, but also try to keep the relationship strictly business. Things start to get really messy and complicated as Tess' real boss, Katharine comes back from the hospital and reveals her true identity.
