The main thing that makes this movie worth watching is the actual message that it transfers around. No matter who you are, or what you are doing, if you do or do not have money, we are all same living creatures, made of same matter. Unfortunately, it is hard to make people in real life to accept that fact as easy as on movie screen, but it is a good way to spread the word. Main story of the movie begins when random drifter comes to town and asks to work for anyone so he can have some money to pay for food. As he gets rejected everywhere, on the other side, the preacher ("pastor" in the movie) actually gets robbed. Church that he is serving in gets sold by the town officials as it has quite good location. As they are preparing for moving out, politicians start arguing about what to do and how to use this and push it to their side. They simply take the sentence "What would Jesus do?" and try for every situation to find such solution, and do precisely that. As they start embracing such view on the world around them, many things start changing and more and more people start paying attention to their work.
